Important Information about Ball Valves

1. Ideal for instrumentation, these ball valves thrive in alternating temperatures from 10ºC to 65ºC, handling constant temperatures up to 90ºC. Low-temperature compensation type supports -10ºC to 65ºC.

2. Designed for precision, the six-way ball valve operates exclusively in fully open or fully closed positions.

3. Note: Initial operating torque may be higher if the ball valve hasn't been used for a period.

4. Keep in mind that excessive alternating temperatures can reduce the initial packing sealing force of instrumentation ball valves.

5. Packing adjustments may be necessary during the valve's lifecycle, especially if a significant drop in handle torque is noticed, to prevent leakage.

Testing

Six-way ball valves undergo 100% pressure testing with 500 psig (3.4 bar) nitrogen before shipment.

Other series of ball valves are comprehensively factory-tested to withstand 7MPa nitrogen pressure.
